Artist Statement:Self-taught Atlanta Artist Priscilla Nelson is known for her portraits and her Contemporary Realism figurative paintings. Her figurative paintings capture emotions through the interaction of the fabric and the figure. "I have always been interested by how we attempt to change the 'basic' form we all have by what we choose to wear, and how that choice changes our body language and our general mood. More interesting is to see how a group of people will all have a different perception and judgement of the subject." |
