Melinda Crider » Introduction
After attending the Atlanta College of Art and completing the pottery assistantship at Callanwolde Fine Arts Center, I have ventured into many media of expression including mixed-media installations, video and SX-70 Polaroids. The mystery of the human psyche continues to intrigue me and remains an integral element in my work. Artist Statement:This work reflects my concerns about Water as the primary life sustaining element and it is being threatened by environmental conditions, which are in my opinion man-made.
